Alcon started as a small pharmacy in Texas (USA) and later started focussing on ophthalmic products. Nowadays it is a subsidiary of the Swiss multinational Novartis. Alcon produces ophthalmic products, medicines, dry eye products and contact lens care products.
In Bornem, Belgium, Alcon produces its eye care medicines. These medicines are shipped to wholesales, pharmacies and drugstores in west and central Europe. Their products are loaded and unloaded with Loading Systems swing lip dock levellers, sectional overhead doors and curtain dock shelters. For extra safety we installed our vehicle restraint system at all their loading bays.
